lyrics
i had some plans today
i just let them slip away
and i know yr with somebody else
all my friends drink too much
maybe i don't drink enough
and i know yr with somebody else
and now i'm passed out on the floor
but i ain't gonna let this town
break my heart anymore
i got this off my chest
turned out it was a waste of breath
and i know yr with somebody else
a hole in my favorite shirt
tried to fix it - made it worse
and i know yr with somebody else
and now i'm pulling at the threads
but i ain't gonna let yr heart
get inside my head
i see the cracks in concrete pass under my feet
i see yr shadow as you come walking up my street
nothing so sweet as yr lips
nowhere for my hands but yr hips
and i know yr with somebody
and i wish i was somebody else
and know i'm passed out on the floor
but i ain't gonna let this town
break my heart anymore
Perfectly bittersweet jangly and fuzzy indie pop from Northern Ireland. Kendall's songwriting keeps getting better and better. Can't wait to hear what's coming next! K. Campbell
Prolific songwriter and GarageBand multitracker from Houston/Chicago who keeps cranking out simple pop melodies buried underneath stacked distortion pedal destruction. K. Campbell
first off, how in the hell was this written within the first 8 months of you learning guitar? this is phenomenal. it's so diy and I am sooooooo in love with it!!!! it's been awhile since ive found some truly great, fun, poppy tunes and this ep is filled with em from starr to finish. in short I love it. my finding this album was a blessing to my tired ears. I just can't pick a favorite track, they're all great. in short, I love it love it love it, keep making music!! lol dannyz
A bite-size serving of power pop from a rising Virginia band equipped with three different guitarists; riff snobs won't be disappointed. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 18, 2024
